Please bring your bill with you when making a payment so the correct account is credited.

All bills become due the 15th of each month.  All accounts that are not paid by the 15th will be charged an additional 10% as a penalty for late payment.  When a water account goes unpaid for one month, and the customer receives a two-month bill, it is mailed with a disconnect notice on the statement.  If services has been disconnected for delinquency the total amount of the bill, including all service fees, must be paid in full in order for service to be restored.  The city has until the following business day to reconnect services once payment has been received in full.

During the monthly readings of water use, members of this department watch for abnormally high usage, which may indicate a water leak. When a condition has been noted, as a courtesy the customer is notified by phone; or a high usage alert notice is mailed. Customers are encouraged to contact the water office if they have a reason to suspect a leak.
