The annual FREE Easter Egg Hunt will be on April 19, 2025. The Easter Bunny will be hopping in to say “Hello” so parents and grandparents make sure you bring your phone/camera to capture the moment. Eggs will be provided, but children will need their own basket or bag to gather!
On April 19, 2025, the Van Wert County Human Society Shelter will be hosting a dog bone hunt at the Rotary Dog Park. The bone hunt will start at 12pm with two different areas (large dogs/small dogs). A donation of $10 gets your dog treats, a chance to win prizes, and a photo with the Easter Bunny! Raffles will also be available. The 4th of July Firework display is provided by the Van Wert County Foundation, The City of Van Wert & Local Donors. We greatly appreciate their support! The location of the show is at Van Wert High School, 10708 St Rt 118 S. We ask that you DO NOT BRING IN ANY fireworks, sparklers or alcohol onto school grounds for the safety of everyone.
