July Events
American Legion – The Independence Day Parade will be on Thursday, July 4, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. to noon with setup time starting at 10:00 a.m. The parade route will start at the intersection of N. Tyler St., on E. Main St., to the 100 block of N. Shannon St. The staging area will be the parking lot of Northwest State Community College.
Black Mark Mafia, LLC – The car show event will be on Saturday, July 13, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The street close is Pratt St., by the Auto Zone Property.
Van Wert Freedom Cruise – The event will be Saturday, July 13, 2024, beginning at 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The street closure is Jefferson St., from Main St., to Central Ave.
First United Methodist Church – Operation Back to School event in Fountain Park on Sunday, July 28, 2024, beginning at 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The street closure is Jefferson St., from Main St., to Central Ave., with both corner intersections to remain open.
August Events
Main Street Block Party – The event will be on Friday, August 9, 2024 beginning at noon to 11:00 p.m. The street closure starting at noon for S. Jefferson St., from W. Main St., to Town Creek and W. Central from S. Jefferson St., to S. Washington St. Also, starting at 2:30 p.m., for W. Main St., from N. Shannon St., to S. Washington St., and N. Jefferson From W. Main St., to W. Jackson St.
October Events
Black Mark Mafia, LLC – The trunk or treat event will be on Saturday, October 26, 2024, beginning at 2:oo p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The street closure is Race St., from Central Ave., to Main St.
