DESCRIPTION:City of Van Wert\nVan Wert\, Ohio\nStreet Maintenance\n ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS \n Sealed Bids for the Street Maintenance can be dropped off at the City of Van Wert at the drive thru window located at 515 E. Main Street\, Van Wert\, Ohio 45891\, or mailed to the Safety-Service Director at 515 E. Main Street\, Van Wert\, Ohio 45891. All bids must be received by Thursday\, April 16\, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. local time\, at which time bids received will be publicly opened and read.  Due to the COVID-19 mandates\, there will not be a face to face opening.  Bid results will be posted on the City’s website and Choice One’s website both found below. \nIn general\, the project consists of the resurfacing of several streets within the City including milling of existing asphalt\, placement of tack coat\, new asphalt\, and pavement markings. In total\, 4.90 lane miles are to be repaved with traffic maintained throughout the project. \nThe free electronic Bidding Documents which include plans and specifications may be obtained by contacting the issuing office of Choice One Engineering at bnc@choiceoneengineering.com.  Hard copies are available for an additional fee and are non-refundable.
